Time to Stand Together

To the Editor:

It is just truly amazing that after over three weeks the number of articles written about how the election went. At this point it is obvious that one candidate won and the other lost. Some people are sad and others glad and happy.

What we should all hope for is that the elected official will be looking out for all Americans and this country. Too many problems exist in this world to be squabbling over petty arguments of which there are numerous. We need to stand together as one united country and show the world who we are and what we will and won’t tolerate.

Some can wallow and cry over their lost candidate, but we know that will not change a thing so the best we can hope for is strong leadership concerning problems facing this country. No one is perfect, but if we stand together as Americans there is little we cannot face. It is time to come together and work for a better tomorrow.
