Thoughts on Project 2021
To the editor:
I rarely write a letter to the editor except when I see information that is startling and have found to be a threat to America. Sound familiar? Reading a letter in the last paper about Project 2025 exerts of this Think Tank theory that states policies that may be needed to address the potential train wreck our nation is facing.
Taxes: Taxes may be raised. Fact: The current administration already put forth a bill that passed because VP Harris cast the deciding vote that hires 87,000 new IRS agents to ensure that we all pay “our fair share” of taxes, and that includes special attention to “tips” being taxed accordingly. Now ain’t that rich, being that former President Trump proposed these being exempt from taxation and now Harris wants the same policy supposedly. Too late. She cast the vote. Not to mention the hyperinflation we are suffering under this disastrous administration that results in all of us paying, you guessed it, more in sales tax and property tax. Also this administration wants the increase tax rates for the middle class, which we have been enjoying the last few years passed by the Trump administration, to sunset so that they go way back up to where they were under Obama. For example a couple filing jointly making $100,000 pays 12% would go back to 25%. Look it up.
Title 9: That shouldn’t even been brought up. This has been destroyed when biological males were allowed to compete against females. Thus taking away scholarships, awards and worst yet their dignity when women lose to these people and not to mention some of the injuries being suffered involving some of these sports.
I’m not going to address all of the items brought up because a long letter is boring.
Project 2021 is not some think tank theory that may happen if someone gets elected. We are living it. It took place January 20, 2021 and it is a reality. Not a theory. Inflation over 20%. In reality it is much worse because the bureau of statistics strips food and energy from the stats because they are considered too “volatile.” What do we spend the most on? Food and energy. Real inflation is more like 75 to 100%.
Ask yourself: how much has my rent, car insurance, groceries, mortgage, health care gone up in the last four years? I can go on and on.
Project 2021: We are on the cusp of WW3. Antisemitism running rampant. Borders allowing illegal aliens in unchecked. I truly fear for what kind of terror attack we may be facing as our enemies just walk in to our country. Not even mentioning all the crimes and atrocities being committed daily by these illegals. Just turn on the TV. It is sad and just horrible.
I honestly have not read what is in Project 2025 nor am I really familiar with it except what I hear or read about it like what was printed in last week’s letter. But I am pretty darn well sure it ain’t got doodlysquat on Project 2021. And yes I love the USA. Proudly served it. And may God Bless and preserve it.
