To the Editor:

On behalf of the Salvation Army of La Grange I would like to extend our gratitude to the citizens of Fayette County and all who contributed to the Red Kettle campaign this year. It was a huge success.

Also would like to extend our gratitude to Wal-Mart for allowing us to use their location for this benefit. Also thanks to The Fayette County Record for running a story on our history and what the Salvation Army does in the community.

I would like to add that all monies donated stay right here in Fayette County. No funds are sent to Headquarters. We are all volunteers so there are no paid employees. We have virtually no overhead. Again, thanks to all and look forward to doing it again next year.
