St. Paul-Serbin Annual Picnic May 25
St. Paul Lutheran in Serbin will have their Annual Picnic on Sunday May 25 at the Serbin Picnic Grounds.
FLHS Graduation
Faith Lutheran High School will have their fifth graduation class commencement ceremony on Saturday May 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Church. Congratulations to Valedictorian Donovan Phillips and Salutatorian Ashton Grimm.
Area Vacation Bible Schools Mark your calendar for area Vacation Bible School. Holy Cross in Warda will have VBS June 16-18 from 5:30-8 p.m. St. Paul in Serbin will have VBS June 9-13 from 8:15-11:15 a.m.
Wednesday Night Bible Study The Wednesday Night Bible study group meets each week at 6:30 p.m. in the family room at Holy Cross Church. For more information about this study, contact Cyndy Zoch at cyndy.zoch@gmail.com.
Sewing Circle
The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (This is around the back side of the church.) No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 2423333 for questions.
Game Day at Holy Cross
The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday June 19 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.
Community League Baseball
Serbin will play at Shiner on May 18.
Central Texas Food Truck The Central Texas food truck will be at the Waldeck Lutheran Church on May 17 from 10-11 a.m. Drive-thru only.
Warda Recycle Trailer
The Warda recycle trailer is located across from the fellowship hall. For aluminum can recycling, there is a large wire bin at the picnic grounds. The money from the cans benefits the local Trail Life Group, they greatly appreciate your support.
Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
The Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group meets at 11:30. They are studying the book of Galatians.

FLHS Golf Tournament Faith Lutheran High School will hold their Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Friday, May 30 at Frisch Auf! Country Club in La Grange. Shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. For more information on entering a fourperson team or to sign up as a sponsor call (979) 242-2889.
Summer Camps at FLHS Summer Camps are back at FLHS. Grades are for next year: May 27-29, Basketball-Grades K-8; June 2-3, Archery-Grades 4-8; June 9-11, Volleyball-Grades 3-8; June 16-18, STEM Camp-Grades K-6; June 23-25, Art Camp-Grades K-6.
