St. John Ellinger to Host Advent Service Nov. 29

Join St. John in Ellinger for Breakfast Church on Nov. 26. Worship will be at 8 a.m.

Ellinger will host one of the Advent services this season on Nov. 29. Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. There will not be a soup supper this evening.

Christmas Eve service will be in Ellinger and Pastor Tracey Breashears Schultz will lead the service. She will be in Ellinger at 5 p.m. and at St. John in Rutersville at 7 p.m. Pastor Fred Hill will lead the service in Fayetteville and Warrenton at regular worship times. There will not be any services on Christmas Day.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at Noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Face book page.

LGISD

La Grange ISD will not have classes Nov.20-24.

Hermann Sons

New this year will be an extended week for the youth camp in the summer. There will be a 10 night, 11 day camp program from June 23-July 3, 2024. This co-ed program will be held at the Hilltop Camp with a limited enrollment of 90 females and 64 male campers. More information will be released closer to the summer months.

Bingo is held every Thursday night at the Brenham Hermann Sons Lodge. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and cards go on sale at 6:15 p.m. Games start at 7 p.m and this is open to the public.
