Say Thank You

To the editor:

One day I got to thinking about how wonderful it is to live in a county like Fayette County. The question is what makes Fayette County such a great county in Texas.

First, Fayette County has one of the most beautiful courthouses in Texas. The area surrounding the courthouse is beautiful with all the flowers and great landscaping making it a beautiful view.

We then have to say we have a great Sheriff and sheriff’s Department that keep us safe and protected from criminal activity. We have great fire departments in all our towns that protect us from danger and fire hazards. Our EMS Department also does great work in helping in emergencies and health issues.

Now, we must ask what helps all these departments keep us safe and protected? So, we must thank our county judge and the county commissioners for working so hard to use our tax dollars wisely in supporting these departments. We want to thank all the county employees for the great work they do on our roads and bridges. The next time you see our county judge, or commissioners, any of the county employees and volunteers mentioned above give them a big thank you for what they do.
