Respect Different Viewpoints
To the editor:
Thank you for publishing “The Warrior’s Dilemma” in your Nov. 8 edition. It carries a message that is deep and thoughtful. Every armed forces member thinks of this when facing an enemy, and the enemy is thinking the same thing. This dilemma applies to everyone, not just military people. Our world is full of different viewpoints and one should respect those viewpoints that do not necessarily agree with yours. Whose side is the Lord on? No one knows... To listen to others, they seem to think he is always on their side. One does not know the background of others, and how not only their upbringing but their life as it unfolds forms their view of life and the world. Be slow to criticize and be fast to respect different viewpoints. God bless the USA!
