Reclaim Our Birthright

To the Editor:

Americans across races, places, and parties value our freedoms, and so we watched in horror as violent insurrectionists attacked our country on Jan. 6, 2021, incited by Trump and MAGA Republicans.

Now that the MAGA Justices on the Supreme Court aided Trump’s criminal conspiracy and paved his way back to power, Trump is pardoning the few people who were held accountable for breaking into our Capitol, killing people trying to defend our nation, and terrorizing our representatives.

Now, Fayette County, it’s time to turn our horror and disgust into action, joining together so we can expose the billionaires calling the shots for Trump, refuse to comply with MAGA’s agenda, and reclaim our birthright: making America live up to its promise of liberty and justice for all. Let’s do it and stop Trump -2.0.!
