Praise for Program

To the Editor:

The Christmas program presented by Fayetteville Elementary students and faculty on the evening of December 19 was delightful. Students from each grade level, prekindergarten through 6th grade, performed an age-appropriate song, complete with costumes, props and choreography. As a former teacher, I know the difficulty of the logistics in preparing that number of children for such an event, and it is mind-boggling.

The support of the parents and the community was also very impressive. A huge crowd was in attendance, and they provided much positive feedback. Obviously, Fayetteville cares a lot about its students and their schools, and it shows.

Many kudos to the teachers and staff who devoted innumerable hours with students preparing for this production, which was so enjoyable and put many people in the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas!
