Oh The Hypocrisy

To the Editor:

A couple of letters in last week’s FCR were stunning in their hypocrisy as is usual with Democrat letter writers. One just regurgitated lame stream media talking points yet again. The second was filled with vitriol and hate.

So let’s start with the “I’m not necessarily a religious man.” That statement disqualifies the writer from talking about anyone’s faith. I am a Christian and while I write letters in response to some of the asinine comments that come in Letters to the Editor, I defend my positions with facts.

So a few points in response to the hate filled letter.

When someone points a finger at others, they should always remember there are three fingers pointing back at them. Christ’s words: “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone” (John 8:7). Is President Trump perfect? Absolutely not. Am I perfect, nope. None of us are. There was no doubt, however, when he was in office that he loves America. Unlike Biden who is doing everything he can to destroy it.

Now to “the other side.” Since the writer’s position is one of not necessarily being a religious man, I’m not sure the writer is qualified to discuss what the qualities of a Christian man are. Just because Biden hasn’t divorced or supposedly hasn’t done the things listed in the letter, doesn’t make him a Christian man. It’s about where his heart is and quite frankly, he hasn’t shown himself to have the heart of a Christian man. That’s my opinion to which I am entitled. As to the statement “by all accounts he’s a stellar father….” Let’s review – his son is a drunk, drug addict, and felon who didn’t even acknowledge his own child. Biden didn’t acknowledge his own grandchild until the heat got to be too much in the press. Not a ringing endorsement for a “stellar father” or a Christian man.

“A man who embodies the essence of what Christianity should be….” Well let’s see, he’s involved in selling his country out to the highest bidder for the almighty dollar. He’s allowed open borders resulting in the murders of Americans. He has American blood on his hands. He’s an abortion supporter. That’s not the essence of Christianity in my book.

Remember, whether someone is religious or not, we will all stand before God in the end.

Going to church doesn’t make you a good person or a Christian. A minister years ago told me, when I asked what makes a Christian, “sitting in church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than sitting in a garage makes you a car.”
