Listen to Trump’s Lies

To the editor:

Voter’s deserve facts and truth, not the misinformation in many of last week’s letters.

If one wants “the full story” on Trump and Vance just listen to what they tell you.

Trump threatens, promotes violence, divides with fearmongering and words of hate and prejudice. He bullies anyone who disagrees with him and promises he will seek revenge. His admiration of dictators and the destruction of norms is tiresome. His choice for his running mate, Vance, parrots what he thinks Trump wants to hear. He is Trump’s minion. Vance admits he lies to get attention. A person who deliberately gives out false information to confuse voters should not be in the White House.

Warnings that Trump would be a threat to our security and Democracy, from former Trump cabinet members, conservative Republicans, and Military Generals, must be carefully heeded.

Kamala Harris has a plan to grow our economy, work to solve immigration problems, and unite us, not drive us farther apart, in stark contrast to Trump. She wants to strengthen our ties with our allies, not pull out of NATO. She reminds us that it was Trump, for political reasons, who encouraged Republicans to block the bi-partisan immigration bill that would have helped the border situation. The bill was endorsed by border patrol and could already be a first step to helping the situation.

Harris wants to help grow our economy by helping the middle class and small businesses as they are the heart of our nation.

With a Democratic administration, the economy is growing. Employers have created more than 16 million jobs, the most during any presidential term. Wages are once again growing more than inflation. Inflation has dropped from a peak of 10% in 2022 to just 2.4%, which is close to normal. We have a thriving stock market, low employment and wage growth, incredible inflation decline, lower gas prices continuing to go down, and there is Federal Reserve optimism. The Democrats are bringing American families back to a sense of normalcy.

With recession odds lowered and economy growing, the choice is clear. Vote top of the ballot for Kamala Harris and down the ballot for Democrats to restore our faith in the American way.
