Call the Governor
To the Editor:
We must all call Governor Greg Abbott’s office, now. He must do and can do more to control our southern borders. His numbers are, (512) 4631782, (800) 843-5789 or (512) 463-2000. His staff should relay your messages. Remind them that our leaders work for us, and they can all be replaced.
In case you missed it, word is out that there will be communities set up all over Texas, for thousands of illegal immigrants. I understand there will be a huge community near Tomball, and another around the Dallas area. Thousands of illegals to live in our state, not documented, not vaccinated, not vetted, and living at our expense.
We are witnessing exceptional, devastating history. Our country is going through destruction and decline, and may never be the same. More US citizens are dying from drugs coming across the border than dying in Ukraine. Many illegals have died from drowning, sex and drug trafficking, desert heat and dehydration from trying to cross the border. Some have died in the backs of trailers, from the brutal Texas heat.
We have a legal immigration process, which is not being followed by our President. Illegals must acclimate to our country, its ways and language, and then love it– not because it is a pathway to free handouts, which will cost taxpayers billions of dollars.
President Joe Biden does nothing about it. He says we must do the right thing. Does he think it is right to let children and women be sexually violated, or drown in the river or die from the heat? Does he think it is right to let people break the laws?
And what about those who just this week crossed over and tried to put the flags of their country on Texas soil? Does that appear they want to acclimate and beAmericans? Thank God our border patrol took care of that. But in most other ways, the hands of border patrol are tied.
As we hear from most Republicans, why is it we help other countries with their borders and cannot close ours? I understand this issue has been going on for years, but at least under the Trump administration, like him or not, we had the lowest number of crossings ever.
Call your governor. And call him again. And again.
