Hold SCOTUS Accountable

To the Editor:

In Fayette County, Texas, and in America, we value our freedoms.

But a powerful few have always tried rigging the rules, claiming the wealth our work creates. In contrast, the MAGA Republicans they’ve paid for on the Supreme Court of the United States aid, abet, and accelerate Trump’s criminal conspiracy, and try to take away Social Security, Medicare, and our freedom to thrive.

And the billionaire-backed MAGA Justices on the Supreme Court who took away our freedom to decide what happens to our bodies have ruled to make freedom a luxury only for the wealthy, white, straight few. They want to rule over us, not represent us, while taking luxury gifts from billionaires with cases before the Supreme Court.

But we have seen that when we join together across races, places, and parties, the many can stand up to the money. Coming together, we can demand that Congress investigate the MAGA Justices taking dark money from billionaires and setting rules and standards to ensure the Supreme Court delivers equal justice under the law.

Contact Senator Cornyn’s, Senator Cruz’s, and Representative McCall’s offices and demand Congressional investigations of corrupt MAGA Justices.
