FLHS Summer Camps Begin Next Week

Summer Camps are back at FLHS. Grades are for next year: June 9-11: Volleyball-Grades 3-8; June 16-18: STEM Camp-Grades K-6; June 23-25:Art Camp-Grades K-6; Visit the school website or Facebook page for more information and to sign up. Space is limited.

Area Bible Schools 

Mark your calendar for area Vacation Bible School. Holy Cross in Warda will have VBS June 16-18 from 5:30-8 p.m. St. Paul in Serbin will have an Australian Adventure themed VBS June 9-13 from 8:15-11:15 a.m.

TWHS Scholarship 

The Texas Wendish Heritage Society scholarship program is available to students of Wendish descent and encourages students to learn more about their Wendish Heritage. 2025-26 scholarship applications are available online at texaswendish.org and on the Texas Wendish Facebook Page. The applications are online only for digital submission and the deadline is Friday, June 30 at 5 p.m. For more information contact the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum at 979-366-2441 or museum@ texaswendish.org.

Wednesday Bible Study The Wednesday night Bible study group meets each week at 6:30 p.m. in the family room at Holy Cross Church. For more information about this study, contact Cyndy Zoch at cyndy.zoch@gmail.com.

Game Day at Holy Cross The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday June 19 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.

Sewing Circle 

The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (This is around the back side of the church). No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 2423333 if you have any questions. Community Baseball New Ulm will play at Serbin on June 8.

Warda Recycle Trailer 

The Warda Recycle Trailer is located across from the fellowship hall. For aluminum can recycling, there is a large wire bin at the picnic grounds. The money from the cans benefits the local Trail Life Group, they greatly appreciate your support.

Holy Cross Services 

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

The Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group meets at 11:30. They are studying the book of Galatians.
