The Fake Conservatives

We witness the rise of Fake Conservatives and wayward Republicans. The stench is appalling.
Conservatives cherish thrift and our Constitution, interpreting it according to its original text and intent (Originalism). Little Donnie and the Trumpsters have drifted away. Three examples of untethered behavior are the Little Donnie War, the attack on Birthright Citizenship, and our fiscal mess.
Despite our Founding Fathers priding themselves on establishing a government in which the President cannot unilaterally start a war like an eighteen century king, Little Donnie put on his tin plate crown and declared the Little Donnie War against Iran to the tune of $80 billion. Evaluating this against the conservative Doctrine of Original Intent, our Constitution in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 plainly states: “The Congress shall have Power . . . To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water; . . .” There are only three conditions for the President to use force per our Constitution and supporting legislation:
• Congress declares war
• Congress specifically authorizes force
• National Emergency to defend against direct attacks on the USA.
If you do not see the incredibly dangerous problem of one man taking an entire nation to war without the consent of Congress, clearly you are not a conservative and do not believe in constitutional original intent, and you are a liberal interpreter of our Constitution with totalitarian inclinations making you a dangerous voter. As Lincoln noted, our government is supposed to be “of the people, by the people and for the people”, and definitely not “government of the jackass, by the jackass and for the jackass”.
The fake republican attempt of Little Donnie and the Trumpsters to deny birthright citizenship was bizarre. Birthright citizenship (jus soli) was enshrined in English Common Law prior to 1776, and the USA adopted it from the beginning when the common law was incorporated as a foundation of our legal system beside our Constitution. The Fourteen Amendment is a restatement of English Common Law in the context of our nation.
The congressional records from 1866 concerning the Fourteenth Amendment leave no doubt that the original intent of the amendment was birthright for everyone except families of foreign ministers and Native Americans nations by treaty subject to their own laws on reservation lands. For example, Republican Senator John Conness in the official proceedings of the time (the Congressional Globe) during discussions made by the following statement: “The children of all parentage whatever, born in California, should be regarded and treated as citizens of the United States, entitled to equal civil rights with other citizens of the United States.” The Supreme Court, in all cases since 1868, has defended the common understanding of birthright citizenship. Fake Republicans are original intent flunkies, not understanding nor conserving the foundations of the “Party of Lincoln” to which they claim membership.
Our National Debt, which will be $40 Trillion by the end of this year, is largely the creation of Fake Conservative Republicans. When George W. Bush assumed the Presidency on 20 January 2001, our national debt was $5.73 Trillion and had the benefit of budget surpluses for the last four years of the preceding Clinton administration. Republican administrations since 2001 are responsible for about $16.1 Trillion, which is 40% of our total debt. Little Donnie already holds the record for the most dollar debt incurred at nearly $12 Trillion. When he leaves office in January of 2029, Republican administrations since 2001 will be responsible for more than 50% of our National Debt. The fiscal irresponsibilities of our Fake Conservatives are terrible to behold.
And why do Trumpsters nominate criminal, corrupt, immoral and ignorant candidates for public office from President on down to Corrupt Kenny for Senator?
