A Drainage Solution

Multiple Council sessions and Budget meetings, along with countless hours of planning, goes into fixing drainage and flooding in towns. Almost every town/city experiences this problem to varying degrees. Untold millions of dollars are spent each year by them to try and cope with the runoff.

Much of the flooding is due to the pipes being full of debris and grass/leaves from yards and commercial lots. Every time you look and all of the grass is being blown into the gutters with the leaves too.

Now you’d think a rake would be better suited and all of that debris mulched. Maybe even just mow it into the yard?

So, next time you see these things going on, give the City a call, or the people that are responsible for the stuff being there. It just makes good sense, Just take notice next time a guy is blowing grass cuttings/leaves into the street.
