Drainage in La Grange

To the Editor:

Fellow citizens of La Grange: I, Teresa Von Rosenberg, have declared myself to be the drainage Czar for the city of La Grange. After all my work, JT (City Manager Jack Thompson) is finally getting a questionnaire put in the next city bill regarding drainage issues. He says he’s getting the first phase of the project started. But I believe he should stop spending money in real estate and park planning in the mean time.

Tonight, JT had a presentation for 90 minutes of what I could best describe as imitation DOGE trying to explain finances. Finally citizen participation was called and secretary, Janet Bayer, told me three minutes. First topic I talked about was drainage. I’m really worried especially now because a large development is being constructed next to the “cop coop” on College Street. The elevations of these homes will cause Danger and perhaps Flooding to “La Grange’s Finest.” We need our local police force safe and dry to be able to serve citizens. Next, I continued on to say, the people of La Grange really care about one another. A city worker informed my neighbor who also works for the city, that I had a high water usage. I discovered that I accidentally had left water running. So I instantly turned it off.

Next, I was informed that my time had expired, so I was unable to express my new genuine ideas for city tourism. But no problem, I toldAndy Behlen that I would just send The Record a letter with my brilliant idea next week. So y’all all stay tuned.
