Do Some Research

To the Editor:

Aresponse to the letter “On School Vouchers.” Mr. Talarico has been in the House since 2018. What has he done about the schools in his district? He mentioned nothing about what he and other Democrats have tried to do or have done concerning schools in his district and throughout Texas. Mr. Talarico, like all Democrats, never provide solutions when complaining about something Republicans have or haven’t done. They always condemn Republicans when they get money from donors. But they never say anything about money they get. It is way past time for school choice. The teachers unions have way too much power and couldn’t care less about the students they are supposed to represent. It’s all about power and control. They did irreparable damage to children with their actions during covid. Schools should not be indoctrinating children into woke ideology.

IdidsomeresearchonJames Talarico. He is a Democrat who professes to be a “Christian.” An article in Politico under their Person Of Interest section had the headline “He’s Deeply Religious and a Democrat. He Might Be the Next Big Thing in Texas Politics.” I’d say that’s unlikely. The article is dated June 16, 2023. Read the article. It called him “the representative and aspiring preacher….”. He needs to pick one or the other. Mr. Talarico quoted scripture when condemning one of his peers during a discussion about a bill about the Ten Commandments in schools. He’s just another Democrat using the Bible to beat people over the head. The article called him “deeply religious.” Not the same as being a Christian.

Muslims are “deeply religious.” Democrats are famous for saying they are Christians and quoting only scriptures that fit their narrative. No one can claim to be a Christian when they only believe some of the things in the Bible. I would challenge any Democrat who professes to be a Christian, including Mr. Talarico-where in the Bible does it say it’s ok to murder unborn children; that God makes mistakes when it comes to the gender of his children; to mutilate children with “gender affirming care.” It doesn’t.

I would take Mr. Talarico’s words about anything with a grain of salt. He’s pushing his own agenda not God’s. He’s Pro-Choice. He sponsored a House Joint Resolution proposing a constitutional amendment to protect the right to abortion. Enough said.
