Deranged Democrats

To the editor:

I am in agreement with a number of recent correspondents chastising those who parrot Democratic talking points while whitewashing the character of President Biden in contrast with his predecessor. That writer who describes himself as not religious clearly does not know what makes someone a Christian. Nevertheless, we are electing a president, not a pastor, and we need someone with competence and conviction who will defend our Constitution and our borders.

What does it tell us about the Democratic Party agenda, when the foreign influence peddling at the center of the Biden family corruption is swept under the rug, while President Trump gets impeached for a phone call asking about it? Or the southern border is deliberately kept open, sowing chaos and crime throughout the nation at the hands of illegal aliens (yes, the official term?) Or the President, in his angry, incoherent State of the Union address, can vilify the Supreme Court justices to their faces for insisting that the individual States be allowed to legislate against killing unborn babies? Good Catholic, massattending Joe Biden should be excommunicated for his support for abortion.

Or how about Democrats decrying the Republican “threats” against democracy and our very freedom, while themselves weaponizing every level of the justice system against their primary political opponent and administratively or judicially undermining democracy by removing him from the ballot in multiple jurisdictions? Trump Derangement Syndrome has regressed from disdain through ridicule and vitriol to outright legal warfare. And what about the moves to undermine the prerogative of several State legislatures to conduct elections, changing balloting rules through administrative actions or judicial fiat?

In addition, we have recently found out about the Democrat-run House Select Committee on the activities of January 6, 2021, that the committee was a total sham, suppressing testimony that Nancy Pelosi refused significant National Guard support that President Trump offered against the riot (not “insurrection”), and that they withheld many documents and videos that did not support the desired narrative and deleted hundreds of relevant documents just days before Republicans took the House majority.

Indeed, TDS is becoming tedious!
