Democrats Guilty of What They Accuse Others
To the Editor:
Regarding the letter titled “SCOTUS and Equal Justice” – Same song different verse. Let’s start with the “highly wealthy few” trying to rig the rules. Fact: One of the wealthiest men in the world is George Soros. Mr. Soros, a Democrat, has bought and paid for Democrat politicians, governors, district attorneys, etc. across the country to push liberal agendas for years. His total contributions to democrats in 2022 alone were $178,820,550. That’s a lot of money for rule rigging. Need proof, check any blue city or state.
Questions: how are Republicans trying to take away social security, Medicare, and our freedom to thrive? How are “MAGA” Justices wanting to rule over us? Always wild accusations; no facts.
And again, the Supreme Court did not take away our rights to decide what happens to our bodies. Fact: For anyone who has actually read the Constitution, the 10th Amendment clearly states that all issues not specifically designated in the Constitution are to be the responsibility of the States. Fact: Abortion is not listed in the Constitution. Fact: Ruth Ginsburg, arguably the most liberal of all Supreme Court justices to date, when asked, said Roe vs. Wade would not stand under review. Meaning the Supreme Court had no basis for their ruling. Which is why it was overturned. Saying that the Supreme Court took away the right to decide about our bodies over and over again doesn’t change the facts.
Fact: Congress does not have the power to overturn or interfere with the Supreme Court or its rulings. It’s always amusing when Democrats make statements regarding Congress “setting rules and standards to ensure the Supreme Court delivers equal justice under the law.” Translation - Democrats don’t like a ruling because it gets in their way of doing something that’s either against the law or the Constitution.
As to taking “gifts,” – Fact: Hunter Biden is neck deep in taking millions of dollars in bribes for influence peddling that benefitted both him and his daddy and will be facing charges. Joe is getting ready to face impeachment charges for said influence peddling and for selling America to the highest bidder. Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez is facing charges accusing him of being a foreign agent and for taking bribes. People living in glass houses should not throw stones. Meaning, Democrats are always guilty of the very things they accuse others of.
