Crimes by Illegals

To the Editor:

I am able to resist responding to most of the opinion articles coming from our socialist neighbors. However, a recent article contained one opinion that crossed a line. The author stated: “But few of us – or our children – have ever been seriously harmed by ..... an undocumented immigrant.”

Such a callous statement will be of little comfort to the loved ones of Laken Riley, the University of Georgia nursing student who was brutally raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela; and Rachael Morin, the Maryland mother of five who was raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador; and Jocelyn Nungaray, the 12 year old girl who was raped and murdered in Houston by illegal immigrants from Venezuela; and, close to home, Vivian Ortiz Zuniga, who was murdered near Fayetteville. Last week an illegal immigrant from Mexico was indicted for her murder by a Fayette County Grand Jury. And this week an Egyptian man who is here illegally was arrested for setting eight people on fire in Boulder, Colorado.

Of course, these are only a few examples of the countless crimes that have been committed by people that are here illegally. Perhaps this is just collateral damage in the eyes of the socialists in this country who want to retain power in perpetuity by flooding America with future voters for their party.
