The Book With All The Answers

To the Editor:

Maybe we should just pause and not purchase any library books this year? After all, there is a heavy burden of debt in the current school budget and debt hurts all, mostly the poor and definitely the children. If you want to purchase a single book that needs to be front and center to life in the library, both now and going forward, purchase The Bible for reading. All answers the children need are there as our Maker gives us what our every decision should be for eternal life. We need to think big, think eternal life!

Have Christians forgotten this? Ephesians 6:12-13 from The Passion Translation tells us, “Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you are protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.”

This is the Word of God, thanks be to God, Amen.
