Bohemians Unite!

To the editor:

Fellow citizens, I have decided that our high dollar city manager JT has good ideas but he is going about it in all the wrong ways. Example: the roof and fountain improvements at city hall are a waste, just like the concrete eyesore flower boxes. If JT would have hired a good local Bohemian such as my cousin James to complete this project, it would have already been done at a much less expensive cost and the money would have stayed local.

JT’s ideas of creating restaurants in the recently purchased building on Colorado Street is good, but much remodeling will have to be done before this can happen. Again, my cousin James should be hired as general contractor, rather than someone from the outside, because he has been taking care of that building for decades and knows everything about it. This would save money, keep money local, and get it done quicker. The city needs to start making money by drawing people in to spend money locally. When the money starts flowing in, the drainage can also start flowing – away from peoples houses, like mine, and to the Colorado River where it belongs.

I hope that I did not offend anyone by singling out our Bohemian heritage. I would like to invite anyone who wants to join our cause, Bohemians Unite. We will solve La Grange’s problems and we will not discriminate. Come one come all. Thank you for listening and God Bless.
