Biden’s Resignation & Accountability

After watching Biden’s disastrous performance in the presidential debate on June 27, many Democrats and Republicans witnessed what theAmerican people were repeatedly told was not true. Problem: we can’t unsee what we saw.

Historian Victor Davis Hanson has compared Biden’s condition to the last days of Leonid Brezhnev, the Soviet Communist leader who died in 1982. Long before Brezhnev died, he was physically and mentally disabled and propped up by continuous lies and propaganda about how he was in good health and in command. That artifice and wall of lies is exactly what we are encountering in the case of Biden today.

Yesterday, Biden announced he was resigning from the presidential campaign responding to pressure from Democrat Party representatives.

As House Speaker Mike Johnson stated in a twitter comment, “The Democrat Party forced the Democrat nominee off the ballot, just over 100 days before the election. Having invalidated the votes of more than 14 million Americans who selected Joe Biden to be the Democrat nominee for president, the self-proclaimed ‘party of democracy’ has proven exactly the opposite. The party’s prospects are no better now with Vice President Kamala Harris, who co-owns the disastrous policy of failures of the Biden Administration.”

Several Republican representatives have commented: “If you can’t run a mere political campaign, you can’t be President,” (Sen. Josh Hawley) and “If Joe is too weak to stay in the race for the presidency, he should resign as our Commander- in-Chief immediately,” (Sen. Marsha Blackburn).

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., said the Democratic party is in “absolute free fall” after attempting to cover up that Biden is unfit for office. “Every elected Democrat in America owns Joe Biden’s failed and feckless record causing the border crisis, Bidenflation, and chaos and weakness around the world,” she said.

Don’t be distracted. The Biden administration and the Democrat Party must be held accountable. As was reported in the Daily Wire, “The truest threat to American democracy isn’t stubborn unwillingness to concede an election or groundless legal wrangling, it is the creation and maintenance of a permanent bureaucracy, organized by the political Left and catering to its whims.” That is the goal of the current administrative state—establishing —”a fourth branch of government that presides over policy, free from the electorate’s judgment.” That is the threat of those in charge of the current administration.

We the people elect public servants as representatives to govern ourselves. “If self-government is to continue, if liberty is to flourish, if we are to remain independent, we must be informed, engaged and active citizens.” Educate yourself. Be an effective citizen You have options. It’s time for a change.
