Biblical Voting
To the editor:
It’s time for those who believe in the goodness of America to stand up and speak up to take America back…back to what? Back to the truth in God’s Word. Not a ‘feel good” gospel, but the unadulterated, inspired scripture that is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Proverbs 29:2 tells us, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan”.
One doesn’t have to spend much time listening to any of the media to conclude that we as a nation are in trouble economically, financially, politically and yes, most of all spiritually. We have long since slipped from under the banner of One Nation Under God. We are a nation that has lost its way desperately looking for a person or political party to bring us back to the greatness of a country as defined by our founding fathers.
There are no political candidates on the ballots that will provide the answer. When asked who I plan to vote for in the coming election, the presumption is Trump, the MAGA Person. I reply emphatically, NO, I’m not voting for Trump and no, not for the other party either: …I’m voting for whoever secures the Border and enforces legal immigration.
…I’m voting for the person keeping jobs in the US and Made in America goods.
…I’m voting for the unborn babies who have the right to live.
…I’m voting for the Second Amendment and my right to defend all that I love.
…I’m voting for the First Amendment and freedom of speech.
…I’m voting for Freedom of Religion, not freedom from religion.
…I’m voting for the US to continue their support of Israel.
…I’m voting for all law enforcement personnel to be respected.
…I’m voting for new Supreme Court Justices to uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
…I’m voting to fight human/ child trafficking.
…I’m voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.
…I’m voting for the right to drill and regain energy independence.
…I’m voting for the military to regain strength and revoke wokeness.
…I’m voting for the appointment of Constitutional Federal Judges.
…I’m voting to teach children basic courses, not the use of correct pronouns.
…I’m voting for legislature to honor the sanctity of marriage (male/female).
…I’m voting to ban men from competing in woman’s sports.
…I’m voting to stop blaming humans for climate change.
The list could go on, but in the interest of space, I’ll stop. Obviously, it’s not the person or party receiving my vote, it’s the issues. I’m voting for the future of my country, for my children and my grandchildren.
It’s time for the righteous people of America to wake up and let their voice be heard. This is not the time to stay silent. Our priests, pastors, ministers and rabbis need to get back to the basics of addressing good vs. evil, right vs. wrong from the pulpit. It’s the right time to encourage all voters to evaluate the candidates and party platform issues based on God’s Holy Word.
Simply stated…VOTE THE BIBLE.
