To the editor:

I am addressing Mr. Belgard’s June 28 letter to the Editor after he addressed my letter of June 14, regarding the acceptance by some churches of the LGBQT+ communities. He wrote that the law of Moses tolerates stoning people to death for their sins, yet the disciple Paul taught us that Jesus said we should all love one another. And Mr. Belgard writes that some want to ride two horses at the same time, suggesting that some do not live by God’s will yet wanting to receive God’s forgiveness.

The Bible I know of course promotes God’s love and forgiveness, but doesn’t support us to continue with sin, nor does it bless the things the law of God condemns.

Now moving on to politics. I write this letter as I just heard on the news that Joe Biden will not run for a second term of presidency. I would ask that the new Democrat candidates please stick to the facts, and not lies when campaigning as their predecessor has done.

Some of those lies being that President Trump wants to be a dictator on day one. This was a joke that Trump made on a TV interview since he has consistently been accused by the Dems of this very thing. Trump jokingly said he’d be a dictator only on the lst day while he closed the border. It was a joke.

And it is not true that Trump ever used foul language against the military, nor did he leave Biden a 9% inflation rate, (actually slightly over 1%), nor is Trump going to change Social Security. These are all lies Biden had been using on his campaign speeches.

And would Biden and the Dems please stop the lie that two cops died on January 6th. They did not. One person died that day, and it was a Republican military woman who was killed by a cop.

The Dems want to talk about the reported 5,000 children that were separated from their parents when crossing the border during Trump’s admin. I understand the reason was that so many children were brought in by people who were NOT their parents, and the Trump administration wanted to be sure on these matters.

But do we ever hear about the reported “100,000 children” the Biden admin has let fall through the system and have no idea where they are? I would wager they have been sex trafficked or are now in child labor facilities. Why is this never reported?

And to those people like Brad Sherman, Democrat rep in California, and Linda Peterson in Florida who have posted their elation that Trump was shot, or too bad the job was not finished, or those who have called Trump, “ America’s Hitler,” we pray they ask God’s forgiveness and find a way to remove Satan and his works of evil from their hearts and souls.
