America’s Demise
To the editor:
Thanks to Democrats this country has been split and divided since before Obama. He just put it into overdrive. As Abraham Lincoln said, “a house divided cannot stand.” He was referring to the civil war at the time but it was also a warning for future generations.
Before I get to my points about how the Democratic Party is pushing us towards communism, here’s a little history of past democracies and republics that have fallen.
There are lots of examples of civilizations falling under the pressure of complete apathy of their citizens. Most ancient constitutional governments, like the Athenian democracy or the Roman Republic, eventually transitioned away from their established systems and towards more centralized, autocratic rule, often through the rise of powerful individuals who gradually accumulated more power, leading to the collapse of the original constitutional structures and the emergence of empires or monarchies; essentially, they were overthrown by internal power struggles and the concentration of authority in the hands of a single leader. A dictator.
According to Lord Tytler, a Scottish Historian, the average age of the world’s democracies is around 200 years. After two hundred years, the nation’s collapse due to various economic policies, followed by a dictatorship. Lord Tytler identified “Eight Stages of a Democracy,” from beginning to end. The eight stages go from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence, and finally from dependence back to bondage. America is past the 200 year mark literally only due to the Constitution the Founding Fathers created. They had the knowledge of what caused the downfall of prior constitutional and republic governments. If they were here today, they would not be proud of what “we the people” have allowed to happen to the country they fought and died for; because we are at the final stage…dependence back to bondage.
Obama stated his goal from the very beginning… to fundamentally change America. He didn’t mean that in a good way. Both he and Hillary Clinton are students of Karl Marx who believed in the conquest of political power by workers, the abolition of private property, and the establishment of a classless and stateless communist society. And that goal of communism is what the Democrat Party is working towards. And their voters are helping them. It you think Biden was, and Harris if she’s elected, will be running this country, you are wrong.
Democrats want to control every aspect of American lives. They hate the Constitution because it keeps them from taking guns away from Americans, which is the only thing keeping them from complete and utter control of America. It’s why they are trying to stack the Supreme Court so they can butcher the Constitution to get their way. They continue to stifle free speech to cancel those who speak against them. Most don’t believe in God, which is evidenced by their push for abortion, same sex marriage, gender mutilation of children, men in women’s bathrooms and sports, etc.
They don’t care about the rule of law. They have used the courts to censure and prosecute their political opponent by inundating him with false charges of Russian collusion, election interference, sexual abuse, falsifying business records. And Democrat voters bought it hook, line and sinker. You see it in the letters from Democrats to the FCR. They have never looked into the charges that have been brought against President Trump. They don’t care whether America survives or falls. But they will. Unfortunately, by the time Democrats wake up, it most likely will be too late.
If Kamala Harris wins the election and the Senate Democrats retain power, America will continue to go downhill until the American people can no longer afford food, gas, shelter. Companies will continue to close. All one has to do is look at the last 3+ years to see that it’s already happening. People will have no choice but to go on government assistance to stay alive. At that point, the government controls every aspect of their lives. We become a communist country controlled by the likes of Soros, Obama, and their ilk.
Do I expect any Democrats to believe or bother to do any research on any of this information? I don’t. If they were capable of thinking for themselves, we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place. Most Democrats are so blinded by their hate for not only President Trump but Republicans/Conservatives, they can’t see their choices are destroying America.
We are literally in a fight for our freedom, our lives, and freedom for future generations. Remember that when you vote.
