Remember When?

Oct. 13-17, 1972 Fayette County Commissioners passed a general order stating that the county would stand good for its portion of any losses sustained in ambulance service operations. Antique Store TxJunkR Holds Ribbon Cutting

On Monday, Oct. 3, a double ribbon-cutting was done at the TxJunkR in Burton on 12607 Washington St. The Carmine Chamber of Commerce, and the Burton Chamber of Commerce combined efforts for a double ribbon-cutting with the flowing red and gold ribbons being cut by the owner, Cindy Ringer. This lady, with her exquisite taste in design, is such an asset to the community by having created a unique antique store that has a wonderful nostalgic atmosphere. There are even sections within the store that are named for the specific small towns that surround the area, and several items earmarked with the various towns’ names. Carmine Chamber and Burton Chamber are happy to have TxJunkR join their memberships.
