Round Top-Carmine basketball player Kennedy Flinn has had a tremendous impact on a Cubettes team that has clinched a playoff birth for the first time in eight years. Flinn has provided a scoring spark in order to propel her team into the postseason, reaching double figures in several recent games.

Tuesday was the last career home game for the senior members of the La Grange girls basketball team, and what a show they put on. With five seniors starting, the Lady Leps jumped out to a 32-2 lead after the first quarter, and then La Grange coasted the rest of the way to a 58-11 win over Manor New Tech.
