The La Grange baseball team started its season with three losses at the Madisonville Tournament last week, falling to Krum 5-4, Franklin 6-3 and Madisonville 9-2. The Leps play at Rockdale Tuesday..

There was a lot of silver for the La Grange golfers at their home tournament last week at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club. The Lep boys and girls both placed second in the team races, and La Grange’s Braxton Dahse and Ella Pineda both were second individually.

Two Fayette County boys basketball teams are headed to the regional quarterfinal round of the playoffs after impressive victories Friday. The #14-ranked Fayetteville Lions traveled to Kenedy where they knocked off #10-ranked San Perlita 71-53.
