Javier Torres of Flatonia was the first winner this season in our reader Pick-It contest. Torres correctly picked all 10 winners last week along with four other people. But his 35-21 prediction of the Navasota/La Grange score (it was 33-21) in the tiebreaker won him the money. Torres said he looked closely at previous game outcomes before making his picks.
