La Grange volleyball has become the model of consistent success among all the sports at the school. For three consecutive years the Lady Leps have tied for the district title.
The first official day of practice Monday for the La Grange varsity football team will begin not on the field or in the weight room – but rather the classroom. New La Grange head coach Kyle Cooper has brought with him his fastpaced version of football that averaged 425 yards per game passing last season – tops in the nation for high school teams.
The Texas Sports Writers Association has honored several local baseball players with all-state recognition. In Class 1A, Fayetteville second baseman Easton Jaeger was named to the first team.
