The Serbin Jackrabbits set a new team record on Sunday night by finishing the season with a perfect 10-0 record – a feat that hadn’t ever been accomplished in the history of Serbin playing in Community League Baseball.

Talk about a debut. Madison Markwardt, a Round Top-Carmine freshman playing in her first varsity match last week, had a triple double (16 kills, 19 digs, and 17 assists) in the Cubettes’ season-opening volleyball victory over Anderson-Shiro last week.

The Flatonia volleyball team beat Shiner St. Paul Tuesday at home 25-16, 2519, 21-25, 25-17.

The La Grange volleyball team has not had the hottest start to the season. But they looked like they put a lot of their previous struggles behind them in a sweep over Lockhart at home Tuesday.
