Conner Brooks has had a hot start to the 2024 basketball season for the La Grange Leps, leading the team in scoring in every game so far. Tuesday he had a teamhigh 13 points as the Leps beat Taylor 57-47.

Several La Grange volleyball players were honored on the 22-4A all-district team. Junior Carley Ulrich was named to the first team.

In a record-setting performance Sunday, Fayetteville’s Brooklyn Jaeger helped lead the Texas A&M Corpus Christi volleyball team to the Southland Conference Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA national tournament.
