Turf on Schedule to Be Ready This Thursday

The Leopard Stadium artificial turf will be ready for the home opener this Friday – with one day to spare.

About a month ago, the completion of the project looked in jeopardy after a wetter than normal early summer, but work has progressed quickly the last few weeks and the scheduled completion date is now Thursday Sept. 2, which would allow coaches and players a walk-through practice on the turf the day before Friday night’s 7:30 p.m. home game against Canyon Lake.
