Tough Night on The Diamond For LHS Friday

The La Grange softball team lost to Caldwell 7-3 Friday in Caldwell.

The game was tied 3-3 going into the sixth inning before Caldwell scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Iylah King and Kylin Brawley each had two hits for La Grange. Anabella Dela Rosa hit a double and Hannah Mitchell hit a triple.

The Lady Leps fell to 1312-1 overall with the loss and 2-6 in district.

They play at Navasota Tuesday and then at home Friday in the regular season finale against the Lady Rattlers.

The La Grange varsity baseball team lost at Caldwell Friday 6-1. The Leps fell to 10-9 overall and 2-4 in district with the loss.

Tristan Ulrich had two of the Leps’ four hits against Caldwell pitcher Shane Clements, who hurled a complete game. Colt Jobb and Eli Gillum also had hits for the Leps.

Jonah Ehler and Colt Jobb combined on the pitching effort for the Leps.

La Grange plays at Navasota Tuesday.
