Three Flatonia High School powerlifters have qualified for state after placing at the regional meet last week.
Tadan Alvarado won the super heavy weight class with a 750 pound squat (a regional record), a 425 pound bench (a regional record) and a 480 pound dead lift. His 1,655 total pounds was also a regional record.
