In 2026, the La Grange Lady Leps Varsity Soccer team exhibited discipline and determination on the field and in the classroom. The program is proud to announce that thirteen of its student-athletes were named to the 2026 District 24-4A Academic All-District team.

• Lily Banks*, Freshman

• Samantha Castaneda, Senior

• Kyla Colon*, Senior

• Raylee Gutierrez*, Freshman

• Trinity Yanis*, Senior To earn their Academic All-District distinction, these student-athletes maintained above a 90 average across their courseload during the 2026 district season (which started in the fourth six-weeks period and culminated in the fifth six-weeks period). Among these thirteen students, seven earned a grade of 90 or above in every course that they were taking during the fifth six-weeks period (a rigorous distinction denoted by an asterisk after their last name).

“The success of the Lady Leps soccer program is measured by more than onthe- field wins,” said Coach Barry Donovan. “Successfully navigated a 16-game district season and two-game playoff run while excelling in the classroom reflects hard work and focused priorities. This achievement should be a point of pride for the entire La Grange community.”
