Swisher 16th at State

History was made this past week. Benjamin Swisher, the first ever La Grange High School swimmer to compete at the state championship level, participated in the UIL State 4A and Below Swimming and Diving Championships on February 9 and 10th at the Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio. Ben, a junior, placed 16th overall swimming a 1:00.41 in the finals in the 100 Butterfly. Senior swimmers from CC Tuloso-Midway , El Campo, Boerne, Andrews, and Carrollton took six out of the top eight places at the meet with the first place finish time being a 50.89.
