Schulenburg Volleyball Team Earns National Academic Award

The Schulenburg Lady Horn Volleyball Team is proud to announce that they are a recipient of the 20252026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. It is the 13th consecutive year that the Lady Horns have received the award.

Team members include: Kimber Bartosch, Mallory Bonner, Miranda Bonner, Reagan Dusek, Jenna Guentert, Aubryn Janda, Michaela Kollmann, Clara Magliolo, Kerr McBride, Saybra Pinney, Grace Schramek, Haylee Vacek, Greenli VanZandt, Landry Zapalac.

502 High School Teams from across the United States of America received recognition. 56 teams were from Texas.

The Lady Horns also received the AVCA Team Academic Award Honor Roll for the 7th consecutive year. This designation is for High School Teams that were in the Top 20% in the United States based on their Team Cumulative GPA.

175 Teams in the United States of America received recognition. 19 teams were from Texas.

The Lady Horns overall cumulative team GPA for 2025-2026 was 98.982.
