Schulenburg Track & Field Athlete Earns National Academic Honors at Angelo State University

Twenty-seven studentathletes from the Angelo State University Rams and Rambelles track and field teams have been named 2026 NCAA Division II All-Academic Athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

ASU honorees include Kobi Valchar, of Schulenburg, who is majoring in Commercial Aviation.

The awards recognize student-athletes who excelled both academically and competitively during the 2026 track and field seasons. The Rambelles have also been recognized as a USTFCCCAAll-Academic Team after posting a cumulative 3.69 GPA.
