Rogers Wins Three Golds at First Track Meet of the Season

Several local high schools competed at the Weimar track meet last Thursday.

Giddings won both varsity team titles and La Grange was second in both divisions.

La Grange’s Bravion Rogers won the 100 meters with a time of 11.52 and won the high jump with a leap of sixfeet and the long jump with a jump of 21-03.

Lep Austin Diggs won the 200 meters with a time of 23.08, and his teammates C.J. Davis and LeKavion Broussard were second and third.

La Grange won the 4x100 relay and the 4x200 relay.

Flatonia’s Zach Charanza won the discus and Kobe Burton won the shot put.

On the girls side, La Grange’s Kylie Trlicek won the 200 meters with a time of 29.35. Landri Hernandez won the 400 meter run with a time of 1:04.80.

La Grange’s Emma Ehler won the high jump with a leap of 4-8 and the La Grange girls won the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:36.36.
