Records Fall at Fayetteville Meet

The Fayetteville high school varsity boys won Thursday’s home invitational track meet and the Fayetteville varsity girls came in sixth place out of 13 teams.

There were seven high school girls and six high school boys stadium records broken at the meet. The varsity girls team of Emma Jurecka, Jeslyn Motalez, Kayme Schley, and Brooklyn Jaeger set a new school record in the 400 relay, beating a record set back in 1995. Cole Fenhaus set a new 3200 record for the third week in a row with a new time of 10:32.
