An online auction will be held from November 11 through November 24 benefitting the Shorthorns Forever Association.
Items will include the following:
• the actual wood floor sections that were taken from center court the Schulenburg Shorthorn gym that have the running Shorthorn logo inside the state of Texas;
• an autographed football jersey and NFL football by former Houston Oiler legendary quarterback Dan Pastorini,
• a UIL state championship gold medal and commemorative team plaque from the 1991 Shorthorn championship football team,
• an autographed football signed by members of the 1992 state championship football team,
• a Shorthorn football helmet from the late 1960’s era, and
• more items to come.
Donations are encouraged from the public. Items do not have to be sports related.
They can be popular auction items like:
• home baked goods
• canned goods
• handcrafted, Homemade items
• gift cards and gift certificates, etc.

The Shorthorns Forever Association is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. Proceeds go to teacher grants and a mentoring program as the Schulenburg ISD. Since its formation in 2014, $17,162.44 has been awarded to these worthy causes.
