No Winner Last Week; We’re Upping it to $300 This Week

Not a single ballot turned in last week correctly predicted Texas A&M’s upset of No. 1 Alabama, so it goes without saying no one was a perfect 10-0 on their picks last week, and thus there was no $200 winner in last week’s football pick-it contest. We (and the sponsor of this contest, Fayette Savings Bank) are still itching to give away some money so we’re upping the stakes and giving away $300 if someone gets all 10 games right this week. See list of games below and remember:

• Make sure to pick a winner in all 10 games and the tiebreaker

• It’s got to be cut from the newspaper, no photocopies accepted, but enter as many times as you like.

• Must be turned in by 5 p.m. this Friday at our newspaper office (127 S. Washington St. in downtown La Grange).

• If more than one person gets all 10 right, the person who most closely predicts the final score of the La Grange/Navasota game wins the $300. 300
