The LC Express youth track program has a number of local athletes that are advancing to the Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa Aug. 1-8.

Here is a list of the athletes and the events they have qualified for in the Junior Olympics:

Macie Collier- 100mh, 400mh, 4x400 relay
Trey Elsasser- 100mh, 400mh
Allison Hutchins- Triple Jump, 4x400 relay
Braylee Hutchinson- 100, 4x100 relay
Addison Oates- 80mh, 4x100 relay
Blaze Pool- 400, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay
Brooklyn Pool- 100mh, 200mh, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay
Janiya Williams- 100, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay
Julius Williams- Long Jump, 4x100 relay
Riley Herbrich- 4x100 relay alternate
