Lions on 4-Game Win Streak

The Fayetteville baseball team has four games in a row and had a 5-2 overall record.

Tuesday they spanked Snook 15-0 and 21-0 in a doubleheader. In the 15-0 win, Keagan Supak had two hits, including a homer. Cooper Mau drove in two runs.

Easton Jaeger and Jack Schley combined to pitch the shutout.

On March 14 the Lions defeated Somerville 13-0, Reid Gross drove in four runs and Travis Gully scored three.

On March 15 the Lions beat Somerville 25-4 as Supak drove in three runs and scored three. Logan Fritsch, Parker Vitek, Gross and Chance Konvicka all drove in two runs each.

IN OTHER BASEBALL ACTION this week, Tuesday’s La Grange versus Gonzales game was postponed until Wednesday, Flatonia’s game against Moulton was rained out. Schulenburg was able to play and defeated Bloomington 16-5 to improve to 1-3 in district.
