LG Native Coaches Judson to the State Softball Quarterfinals

La Grange native Theresa Urbanovsky is the head softball coach at Converse Judson High School and has led her team to a 32-2 record this season. Judson has beaten San Antonio Clark, Hays, Round Rock, and O’Conner so far in the playoffs and faces off against Austin Bowie in the state quarterfinals this weekend.

She graduated from La Grange High School in 1989 and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree from St. Mary’s University in 1994 and then earned a masters of arts degree in educational leadership in 1996, playing softball and volleyball at the collegiate level at Wharton County Junior College and St. Mary’s. She has been teaching and coaching at Judson for over 20 years.
