LG Girls Win District Golf Title; Boys are Runner-Ups

Pineda Wins Individual District Crown

The La Grange girls won the district golf title after two days of play at Colo Vista in Bastrop, while the Lep boys golfers grabbed second.

On the girls side, La Grange shot a two-day 830 to beat out runner-up Caldwell by 29 strokes. La Grange’s Ella Pineda won the district title with a two-day 190. Maddy Kates was third and Gabi Janak fourth. Elizabeth Hart and Macie Kates were also part of the district title team.

On the boys side, Caldwell won the district team title with a 745 and the Leps were second with a two-day 812.

Braxton Dahse was third with a two-day 187 and Gavin Hollek was fifth with a 197. Grant Hollek, Hunter Sabo and Grayson Bage were also part of the district runner-up team.

All these Leps golfers now advance to the regional tournament in Huntsville.
