Leps Soccer Sweeps Tigers

The La Grange girls soccer team played their home finale Tuesday, beating Rockdale 1-0 on a goal by Ellee Sodolak. The Lady Leps are now 8-3 in district and 11-7 overall and have clinched the runner-up spot in District 244A. The Lady Leps close out the regular season Friday at Smithville at 6 p.m.

Also Tuesday the La Grange boys beat Rockdale 2-0 on goals by Jesus Soto and C.J. Davis. The Leps are 6-5 in district and 10-8-2 overall and tied with Giddings for third place in district. They play at Smithville Friday and then close out the regular season at home March 20 against Gonzales.
